Production area: North of Bari – Contrada Schinosa – Trani, at an altitude of 70 meters.
Grapes: 40% Aglianico – 40% Nero di Troia – 20% Cabernet Sauvignon.
Vineyards: Located on rich, clay soil that tends to be calcareous, vines are trained using the spurred cordon method with a density of 4,500 plants per hectare.
Wine making: Frequent pump-overs and fermentation at constant temperatures. The maceration period never exceeds 7- 8 days. Malolactic fermentation is completed in 35 Hl French Rovere oak barrels.
Ageing: The wine matures about 18 months in Slavonian Rovere oak barrels of 35 Hl.
Successive refinement after bottling for 6-8 months before the wine is ready to be released.

Tasting notes: Intense red colour with violet nuances. The nose suggests lively fruity tones leading to notes of vanilla but is never cumbersome. The harmonious bouquet presented to the tongue with spicy fruit flavors .Fullbodied and persistent aftertaste.
Recommended with: The perfect wine to accompany red meat roasts and
aged cheeses.
