ROSSO PICENO

Technical card

Sangiovese and Montepulciano are the grapes used to make this blended D.O.C. The latter is predominant both in structure and complexity, whereas these characteristics are more subtle in the first. The careful management of the vineyard, kept to low yields, and the selection of grapes on the vine during harvesting and in the cellar (only the best grapes are selected) come together to compose this wine. The grapes undergo fermentantion and maceration for a 12 days period. After malolactic fermentation, the wine is refined in stainless steel tanks and in the bottle for a total of 12 months
