Production area: North of Bari – Contrada Schinosa -Trani, at an altitude of 70 metres.
Grapes: 100% Bombino Nero.
Vineyards: 3,2 hectares of Bombino Nero, an historical grape from the “Murgia” region of Bari. Vines are grown espalier and trained using the spurred cordon method on moderately loose-packed calcareous soil.
Wine Making: Time of harvest: first half of September. Maceration of the berry skins of this varieties allows for the delicate colour. After soft pressing of the marc a clear must with a pink coral colour is obtained. Alcoholic fermentation is achieved with selected yeasts at a constant temperature that never exceeds 16° C.
Ageing: Ageing takes place in steel tanks. Successive refinement after bottling for 30 days before the wine is ready to be introduced to the market.

Tasting notes: Pale pink colour with a bouquet that reminds of black currant and fruity notes from the fermentation. On the palate it is fresh and slightly acidic.
