Variety: 100% Glera grapes, an indigenous variety grown on the hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene since the early 1800s; in 1969 the producers’ wish was granted with recognition of Conegliano Valdobbiadene area as the only one for the production of
Prosecco DOC. To protect the uniqueness and excellence of this heritage of man and nature, in 2010 DOC was upgraded to DOCG to guarantee an absolute quality in each bottle.
Denomination: Conegliano-Valdobbiadene DOCG, the production zone includes a territory comprising 15 communes. The vines are grown only on the sunniest part of the hills, at a height between 50 and 500 metres above sea level.
Winemaking: “White“: the must is immediately separated from the skins to enhance freshness and fragrance. The “prise de mousse“ takes place at low temperature in pressure tanks.
Tasting Notes: Clear straw yellow colour, enlivened by a fine lingering perlage.
It has a fresh, fruity fragrance with good density and an aroma of peach and sour apple.
Food Pairing: Aperitif par excellence, delicious also between meals. It goes well with vegetable, fish appetizers and delicate courses. Also good with fruit.
