PINOT GRIGIO

Technical card

Variety: 100% Pinot Grigio. It comes from a bud mutation of Pinot Nero to which it is genetically linked.
Denomination: Venezia D.O.C. It is grown along the stony banks of Piave river.
Winemaking: “White“ i.e. without skins. Grapes hand picked. After pressing the must ferments for 15/20 days at a temperature of 18/20°C. When this stage is finished the wine is stored in thermoconditioned stainless steel tanks until bottling.
Tasting Notes: Clear straw yellow colour with greenish nuances. With the passing of time its intense aroma acquires a characteristic bouquet of dried hay.
Elegant flavour with a light acidity, wellbalanced and full-bodied.
Food Pairing: Excellent with seafood appetizers, fish soup and shellfish. Also good with white meat and eggs.
Serving Temperature: 8-10 °C
Alcohol: 12,5 % vol.
Sugar: 3,8 gr/l
Total Acidity: 5,5 gr/l
Packaging: 0.75 lt. x 6 or 12 bottles in cardboard box.
