Technical card

Variety: Renano. It is named after its creator, Prof. Luigi Manzoni who was director for many years of the prestigious School of Viticulture and Oenology in Conegliano.
Denomination: Veneto Indicazione Geografica Protetta. It is widespread in Veneto and in some parts of Friuli Venezia Giulia and Trentino Alto Adige.
Winemaking: Through cryomaceration the must is cooled at 5/8°C for approximately 15/24 hours to exalt the typical features of the variety. Due to the temporary presence of the skins, the cold allows the wine to acquire aromatic substances and few polyphenols The resulting wine is rich in primary aromas, i.e. coming from the vine and poor in tannins. When cryomaceration is over, the marc is separated from the crushed skins. The must obtained in this way ferments for about 10/15 days at a temperature of 18/20°C with the addition of selected yeasts.
Tasting Notes: Straw yellow colour and elegant fragrance of nectarine and apple. A high class wine that combines the unmistakable features of Pinot Bianco with the delicate, aromatic nuances of Riesling Renano.
Food Pairing: It goes well with appetizers, vegetable soup, risotto, fish and white meat. Excellent between meals.
