Technical card

Variety: Created by Prof. Luigi Manzoni between 1924 and 1930 by fertilizing Prosecco vine with the pollen of Cabernet Sauvignon.
Denomination: Veneto Indicazione Geografica Protetta. The main production is concentrated in Conegliano and surrounding area.
Winemaking: Manual harvest. The must is in contact with the skins for about 8 days.
The fermentation is then completed in stainless steel tanks for 7/8 days at a
temperature of 25/28°C.
Tasting Notes: Intense violet red colour. Well balanced wine, not very tannic with a pleasant, fruity flavour of blackcurrants and raspberries.
Food Pairing: Wine to drink throughout the meal, excellent with white meat, salami, soft and medium ripe cheese.
Serving Temperature: 16-18 °C
Alcohol: 12 % vol.
Sugar: 4 gr/l
Total Acidity: 5 gr/l
Packaging: 0.75 lt. x 6 or 12 bottles in cardboard box.
