The Greco of Tufo is the noblest of white southem species of wine. Very old wine native, according to Aristotele, from Thessaly is identified by Plin as “Alinea gemina” because of its distinctive form of bunches, that branch off twin from the same grape-stalk. The site of Tufo is, for ages place of election for the Greco’s cultivation for exceptional characteristic of its land.

Land’s composition: deep, friable, volcanic, full of calcium carbonate lands
Altitude: from 400 to 600 metres

Wine-making: after a soft pressing, the must ferments at a controlled temperature without peels (16/18°C)
Aging: in stainless steel
Bottle aging: 2 months at least
ORGANOLEPTIC CHARACTERISTICS
Colour: man straw-yellow with greenish reflection
Smell: fine, pleasant with a ripe fruit’s strong smell
Taste: dry, harmonious, with toasted hazelnut notes
Serving suggestion: sea-food, shall fish, white meat and fresh cheese
Serving temperature: 8°/10°C
