CHARDONNAY BRUT

Technical card

Variety: 100% Chardonnay coming from a special area of Piave river where stones abound and make survival difficult for the vines, although this is good for the quality.
Denomination: Quality sparkling wine very common in Triveneto region. For a long time it was confused with Pinot Bianco, of which it was considered a slight variant.
Only in 1970s it was acknowledged as a
distinct variety.
Winemaking: “White“: the must is immediately separated from the skins to enhance freshness. The wine, according to Martinotti method, is placed on selected yeasts for approximately 4/5 months at a temperature of 18°C in pressure tanks. It is then cooled to -4°C for 8/10 days in order to stabilize before filtering and bottling.
Tasting Notes: Bright clear straw yellow colour with greenish nuances. It has a fine lingering perlage. The fresh but strong fragrance reminds of fresh bread and unripe fruit.
Full flavour and well-balanced body.
Food Pairing: Sparkling wine ideal throughout the lunch or to brighten up a conversation between meals.
