BARBARESCO D.O.C.G.RONCAGLIE

This Barbaresco D.O.C.G. grows in the Nebbiolo vineyards situated in the towns of Treiso and Barbaresco, after ageing in oak casks for two years it is presented to the consumer with the following organoleptic characteristics: Colour; garnet red with orange tinges. Fragrance: ethereal, intense, fragrant with fruit and flowers, pleasantly spicy. Taste: dry, full, robust but smooth and velvety. An excellent wine to match with roasted meat, game and matured cheese. This wine has been made and bottled by oenologist Paolo Torchio.

Maximum grape production: 80 q./ha. = 6.933 bott. 0.75 l./ha.
Maximum yield:70% at the first decanting, 65% at the end of the ageing period.
Ageing: two years of which one in oak or chestnut casks, if it is aged for a period not inferior to four years then it can have the written specification “Vintage”.
Colour: garnet red with orange tinges.
Fragrance: Characteristic, ehereal, pleasant, intense.
Taste: dry, full, robust, simple but velvety, harmonic.
Minimum alcohol volume: 12,5 .
Minimum acidity total: 5 ‰.
Minimum dry net extract: 23 g./l.
Complements: red meat and game, matured cheese.
Duration in years: 5-10.
